Genealogy and YouTube

There are many different ways to learn and research your family and develop good genealogical skills. Recently, I have been viewing videos on Youtube. When I did a word search for Genealogy on February 27, 2010, I was given 4,730 hits; search for Family History gave me 4, 280 hits; and Ancestry gave me 3,430 hits. Of course, not all of those hits will be useful to me, but I can use the search bar to narrow down my search using a Name or Place or Keyword such as DNA.
In no particular importance, I did some keywords that had to do with Genealogy/Family History. This will give you some ideas of videos on YouTube you can go and watch from the comfort of your own home. Do you have a webcam on your computer? Why not do a YouTube on your family or a genealogical topic you know about? You do not have to be a professional – just have a desire to share your knowledge or story with others.
Here are some videos I thought you might enjoy: (Please click HERE for rest of article)
