Tina,
Thanks for taking part in the Challenge, as well as for introducing
me to a poet I hadn't read yet. I'll look for more of her work!

Thank you for visiting my review of Patricia Neely-Dorsey's book Reflections of a Mississippi Magnolia. You sure chose a great poem by Patricia for this but then all of her poems are great.

I put together an extensive family cookbook, and when I asked family members for their recipes, I asked them to include a story to go with it. The result was a 200+ page cookbook with family recipes and stories. I peppered the pages with tidbits that I had gleaned from genealogy research as well. It has turned out to be a delightful treasure, especially as I cook with my daughter and share the recipes and stories with her.

I worked for T.G.&Y. for 23 1/2 years. I started in the small variety store in Lakeland, FL, then worked as an office trainer for the district and later the region...then moved to Oklahoma City where I worked at HQ office for the Aim for the Best stores. During the conversion to McCrory...I was on the conversion team for Florida Region. I sure do miss those days...I met a lot of wonderful people and made a lot of friends.

Tina,

To set the record straight. Although I founded the Association of Graveyard Rabbits I am no longer an active member, I do not write the materials at their publications, nor do I post a blog called the Graveyard Rabbits. My blog, The Graveyard Rabbit of the Hill Country, was closed several months ago.

You are correct that I was assisted by Bob Franks of Mississippi and footnotemaven of Washington in the establishment of this group. Of the three original members only footnotemaven is still associated with the GYR group.

I have not looked at the GYR web site in months so I guess they still have up outdated information about my membership, my blogs, and my affiliation with their group.
