Tina Sansone

My name is Tina Sansone and I live in Tennessee.  I am married with three kids.  I love helping others discover their ancestor and seeing their excitement as they learn of their family.  I’ve developed a love of history and writing.  I am a DAR member, and member of The Tennessee Genealogical Society where I was a past board member and currently write for our quarterly, Ansearchin’ News.

I write for the website Bellaonline.com for the last couple years.  Researching for the site has taught me so much.  I’ve attended Samford the last three years and that woke me up to how much I really need to learn.  I am working this year toward getting my genealogy certification, which is teaching me patience and organization.

Since genealogy is not set up (currently) for insurance, I went back to college last year to get that degree I always said I would get.  I am majoring in Medical Administrative Assisant and thinking seriously of dong Medical Billing.  I should graduate this year.  I applied for the school paper, and received a scholarship to be a reporter and write for the paper.  While it won’t be genealogy articles (watch me sneak one in, LOL), the skills I’ve learned in writing genealogy articles helped me get the position.

So, with college, Bellaonline, blogging, family, and did I say I have a part time cleaning business, I will be busy this year.  I love being busy, but I really  have to keep close tabs on deadlines.

    Dear Tina,

I’d like to present our genealogy website (and the fastest-growing social network in Europe) http://www.itsourtree.com to you and recommend it for a review or an article in your publication.

We’ve recently started our servers with the English version of our quite popular European genealogy website. With its origin in Germany, our site has gained more and more attention in the last few months, so that we decided to set up an English site, too.

As life becomes faster and less reliable every day, the only remaining constant factor in life is the family. Our website supports this aspect by bringing the family closer together and helping the people to find relatives they didn’t know about.
Itsourtree.com’s concept is simple: Due to our easy-to-use interface, you can create your own family tree with a few clicks completely free of charge. The added relatives can be invited automatically via email, look at the tree and participate in the building process. This way, a family network can be build up real quickly by means of the family tree.
We’re constantly improving the service and keep expanding to more and more countries all over the world. Apart from the English site, the services are available in seven languages. That way, you can easily invite relatives from other countries and stay in contact with distant relatives from anywhere in the world. So far, there are 4 million families working on their family tree and about 15,000 are added every day. The service is and will always be completely free of any charge and might be funded by additional premium services in the future, but we’re still thinking about that.

Maybe you’re interested and want to write something about us. As we’ve got a daily blog (http://www.itsourtree.com/blog), too, we will definitely link you in our blogposts.
In case that you need any further information or want to ask any question, please feel free to write me to Christian.Richtscheid@itsourtree.com.

    With kind regards,

    Christian Richtscheid

I just fixed the link. I appreciate the heads up. I had left the .com off the end.

    Happy Holidays.
