What I Do When I Am Not Doing Genealogy

Saturday Night Fun has taken a little twist from the genealogical topics and has made way to get to know each of us a little better outside of the family research. Here is tonite’s challenge:
Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to:
* Tell us about your “other” hobbies or interests outside of genealogy and family history research, writing, speaking, etc.
Well, I am a wife and mother of three kids (16 son, 20 married daughter who just had a baby girl one month ago) and 22 year old son in college. My 22 year old attends college with me and we will graduate together in May. I am not sure who I am more excited about getting the degree, me or him.
I love to lecture, but it is usually about genealogy. Since I clean homes part time, I have on occasion done house cleaning tips and things along that line. I love to read suspense and history related books. I am also in true crime novels, but as long as they are not too graphic. I enjoy cross-stitching, but since Genealogy do not seem to do it as much. I love to do things with my friends and family as time permits such as eating out and going to the movies.
I am the Southeast Editor for the International Society of Family History Writers and Editors. I was a reporter for our college newspaper last year and occasionally will send a guest article in. I am on the Alumni Board for the college over Communications. I enjoy the clubs that I have time to participate in (IAAP, Spanish, etc)
While I do have a life with Family, Friends and College, I have to admit a majority of my time is somehow related to genealogy. I am either writing, lecturing, researching or breaking away at some brick wall!
