Hi Tina:

My name is Amy Whitworth, and Charles S. Strother is my great-great grandfather on my mother's side of the family. I found this article very interesting. We tried several years ago to find his grave in Clarkesville, but were not successful. The story in the family is that he went to north Georgia and drank himself to death! Anyway, thank you for being interested in Dr. Strother. I wish I could have known him!
